Hi you seem very knowledgable about DnD etc., could you please explain what the various Lawful X Chaotic, Good X Evil alignments really mean? I can never tell where to put a character. Where do you place sb who does terrible stuff but believes it helps a goal that’s genuinely good, frex? Or where does sb who messes with people for fun all the time yet strictly respects a good and just code belong? (I know “just” is relative but.) It always seems like there’s too many facets to fit into one label
