yes karen that is how businesses work. they made OT era content to make cash. they made new movies to make cash. they paid George 6 billion bucks because they thought (and they probably have by now) would make twice as much back.

Age of Sigmar tabletop RPG is confirmed but not a release date (much less who I would play it with) :(
Honestly though the only reason I’d rather have something besides a Young Han movie is because I don’t trust them to actually show Han as a fairly callous actual criminal. Like yeah, he saved Chewie from the Empire (in the old canon, anyways), but he was also smuggling space cocaine for space El Chapo. He wasn’t a heartless bastard by any means before the Original Trilogy development train, but he was still working for Jabba, who was definitely a heartless slug of a bastard, and that wasn’t a problem until he ended up on the wrong side of some bounty hunters. But more than likely we get a goofy heist movie against someone nominally more bad and lots of witty one liners between Young Han and Young Lando. I’m sure it will not be bad. It will be like Ant-Man, as in a solid 7, but you could have done so, so much more if you hadn’t wasted that slot in your production schedule.

Possibly the top one (but I have a hard time comparing them, so…) (On the bright side, there’s still hope they’ll scrap Young Boba after supposed director issues, since …

The weird thing about the Episode 8 title drop is everyone making gifsets about Yoda’s “pass on what you have learned” speech when he’s dying but I literally have no memory of him saying that or him talking about another Skywalker with his dying breaths (and I’m one of those nerds who’s seen Star Wars a million times but I had to rewatch the scene on youtube and I legit don’t remember the last half of his speech there at all)
I’m totally okay with Luke dying tho if Rey gets to be a total badass. (Sorry Lukefans.)
