Honestly though the only reason I’d rather have something besides a Young Han movie is because I don’t trust them to actually show Han as a fairly callous actual criminal. Like yeah, he saved Chewie from the Empire (in the old canon, anyways), but he was also smuggling space cocaine for space El Chapo. He wasn’t a heartless bastard by any means before the Original Trilogy development train, but he was still working for Jabba, who was definitely a heartless slug of a bastard, and that wasn’t a problem until he ended up on the wrong side of some bounty hunters. But more than likely we get a goofy heist movie against someone nominally more bad and lots of witty one liners between Young Han and Young Lando. I’m sure it will not be bad. It will be like Ant-Man, as in a solid 7, but you could have done so, so much more if you hadn’t wasted that slot in your production schedule.
Of course, I could be proven wrong, cause Rogue One exceeded all my expectations. Rogue One is easily in the top three of the saga. Possibly the top one (but I have a hard time comparing them, so…) (On the bright side, there’s still hope they’ll scrap Young Boba after supposed director issues, since that …
